Betaab Valley, located about 15 km from Pahalgam on the way to Chandanwari, is a lush green gorge framed by pine forests and the fast-flowing Lidder River. Originally called Hagan Valley, it was renamed after the 1983 Bollywood film "Betaab" was shot here, and it has remained a popular stop on the Pahalgam sightseeing circuit ever since.
